Performance coaching is all about unlocking the capabilities and mindsets that shape your success in any role. People often ask me about the difference between coaching and therapy. I explain it like this: therapy tends to look backward – exploring past experiences to uncover the belief systems that shape our identity. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused, designing strategic frameworks and mental tools to drive performance and growth.
My approach bridges the two. I see our past as the terrain that forms our emotional ‘landscape’ – the foundation on which we stand. Coaching, then, is about navigating that landscape with purpose, and using insights from the past to forge a path that leads to greater impact and effectiveness.
